Managing Partner, Dan Keck, Shares His Own Experience at TOPGUN
(DELAFIELD, WI) July 20, 2022 – Dan Keck, an Oconomowoc native and Managing Partner at Prescient Capital based in Delafield shares a special connection with the 2022 Milwaukee Water & Air Show and the feature film Top Gun: Maverick.
Before joining Prescient Capital, Keck led a very different life, not too unlike Top Gun character, Maverick. He graduated from the United States Navy Fighter Weapons School (TOPGUN), was a Commander in the U.S. Navy, and served worldwide as a carrier-based F/A-18 pilot. His time in the Navy included four years at the U.S. Naval Academy, 13 years of active duty, and eight years in the Navy Reserve. During his active-duty years, Keck flew many critical missions, including dozens for Operation Iraqi Freedom, leading strike groups from the USS Theodore Roosevelt aircraft carrier.

As part of the upcoming Air & Water Show, Prescient Capital was a sponsor and hosted a private reception with Captain Scott “Intake” Kartvedt. Kartvedt who is a former Blue Angel and Commanding Officer of multiple navy fighter squadrons and was a stunt pilot in the TOP GUN: Maverick movie.
“The Air Show is an asset to the community, and we are proud to be a returning sponsor. Not only does the show have a great economic impact on the area, but more importantly, it pays tribute to our Armed Forces, those we have lost, and our veterans,” says Keck.
Keck joined Prescient in 2012 as a partner to direct the firm’s strategic direction, operations, and investor relations and has been pivotal in the firm’s growth.
In 2021, Prescient celebrated its 15th anniversary, and the Milwaukee Air & Water Show turned 15 this year.
